Via Ferrata Grünstein

We meet at the Explorerhotel in Schönau am Königssee. From here begins our via ferrata day. We check the equipment and make our way to the start of the via ferrata Grünstein. For today we choose the Isidor, the easiest via ferrata on the Grünstein. We will now start the via ferrata with its original climbing points. After the first great climbing passages, the suspension bridge awaits us, certainly a highlight. Now the path pulls higher and higher and the terrain becomes easier until we soon reach the top of the Grünstein. Behind us we see again and again the King Watzmann and enjoy the impressive views of the Königsee. At the summit, we enjoy the view of the Berchtesgadener Alps. The way back leads us to the Grünstein Hut, where we stop for a snack. Afterwards descent into the valley and farewell.
