First day:
We meet at the parking place Wimbachbrücke. There the equipment will be checked and we start our ascent to the Watzmannhaus 1930 m. We pass the Stubenalm and continue to the Mitterkaseralm. From here the path is now steeper, partly in serpentines to the Falzalm. From there we can already see the Watzmannnhaus. For the last few meters of the ascent, we now climb up to Falzköpfl in many hairpin bends and finally reach the Watzmannhaus. From the terrace, we have a wonderful view of the Berchtesgaden mountains.
Afterwards, we discuss the next day and look forward to the upcoming adventure.

Second day:
We start early for today's destination, the crossing of the Watzmann. We climb over scree and crags until we reach the first rock step secured by wire rope. We continue over scree and rock slabs to the first summit, the Hocheck 2651 m, where we take a short break and put on our climbing harness and the via ferrata set. Our mountain guide takes care of your safety and will check everything and prepare you well for the upcoming adventure. We continue our way now well secured with wire ropes, sometimes directly on the ridge, sometimes on its west side in easy climbing up to the Mittelspitze 2713 m. From here we climb up and next to the ridge to the Südspitze 2712 m. There are some interesting climbing passages, which are partly secured with wire ropes, alternating with walking passages. The view and the panoramic view of the Königsee always takes our breath away. Once we reach the Südspitze, we are very happy and enjoy the view of the Berchtesadener Alps and the Königssee during a well-deserved break. We can also see St. Bartholomä from here. From the Südspitze we now continue climbing and descending over the southern flank into Wimbachgries over a length of 1300 m altitude over scree and rocks. The descent is again a challenge which will be very demanding. Surefootedness on the descent is absolutely necessary here. On the way back we enjoy a cool refreshment at the Wimbachgrieshütte. From there we walk comfortably through the Wimbachgries back to the parking lot at the Wimbachgries.
