The Gran Paradiso is the only "4,000" entirely in Italy and is located within the same-named national park, which has the ibex as its symbol. This beautiful mountain is an exceptional skiing destination, thanks to its slopes characterized by an ideal steepness and the possibility to break in two days the climb by staying at the refuge Vittorio Emanuele. It is considered an easy touring ski track and requires only training since it exceeds 4000 m.
