You will navigate in a group. You will man a raft, with a capacity between 8 and 10 places. We will get on a large and safe inflatable with great stability to make it difficult to fall into the water and we will equip you with wetsuits, a helmet, life jackets and safety equipment, to descend the river between its rapids and currents.
You don't need to have previous knowledge or a lot of physical preparation to go rafting. An expert guide will direct the boat to perform the necessary manoeuvres with maximum safety when descending the rapids of the river. You will have to row as a team and coordinate to avoid the rocks and obstacles that appear by surprise.
Splashes guaranteed! When rafting you will feel the roller coaster on your stomach when the raft suddenly slides down in a small waterfall. You will jump with joy with your friends among the rapids of the river. Keep rowing to stay the course among the rough waters of the river and feel the force of Nature around you. What to see in the surroundings
In 10 minutes you will reach the Xirimbao Suspension Bridge, an undulating walkway that has a magnificent view of the Ulla river landscape. When you cross it you will see the waters move under your feet through the holes in the ground of this fishing bridge. The bridge will move if you jump on it. It is already one of the biggest tourist attractions in the area.
7 km away, in Padrón, you can visit the 'Pedrón', an ancient Roman altar preserved under the main altar of the Church of Santiago, which according to Jacobean tradition was the mooring point of the boat that transported the lifeless body from Palestine to Iria Flavia of the Apostle Santiago. And if you like culture and literature, don't miss the Camilo José Cela Nobel Prize Foundation and the House Museum of Rosalía de Castro, the most illustrious poet in Galicia.
