This tour is one of the most beautiful hikes you can do in the mountains. The basin of the 13 lakes is certainly the most picturesque place in the Germanasca Valley. Along military mule tracks, still well preserved, the flat sections alternate with ups and downs, where you can climb hills and overcome rocky barriers reaching easy peaks. In this hike, you have the opportunity to admire the mountains that surround the basin of Prali and beyond.
Nearby there are several military buildings, the "Ricoveri Perrucchetti", which served as logistic support for the border guard during the Second World War.
