Canyoning on the Serra torrent (Apuan Alps)

Canyoning in the Serra torrent lends itself perfectly to the first encounter with this activity, suitable for beginners and families. The river rises in the heart of the southern Apuan Alps, on the slopes of Mount Altissimo and in the scenery of the ancient marble quarries of Michelangelo. We reach by car the village of Seravezza and, after a short walk, the entrance of the canyon. From there we will walk through it passing small pools where it will be possible to make short dives or short rope descents. Almost at the end, we will reach the highlight of the excursion: a magnificent almost vertical slide/tobogue of about 12 meters that will allow us a fantastic dive in the pool of Malbacco. The canyon continues with an interesting siphon and the last pools. A short walk will take us back to the road and then to the car.
