The view extends from the Wilder Kaiser to the Gesäuse and from the Grossglockner to the Karawanken and the Dolomites.
With the Ankogel cable car you can get up to approx. 2,600 m. From the top station it is 650 meters of altitude difference to the summit. At the beginning you march along the Tauernhöhenweg path to the Radeckscharte. From here, the path leads over pathless terrain to Kl. Ankogel (3,096 m), becoming steeper and steeper as you climb over an exposed ridge (difficulty I) to the summit, which is secured by a rope.
