One of the most beautiful eastern alpine mountains. Rival of the Großglockner, completely free-standing. Main summit of the Fuscher - Kaprun ridge. Deepest drop to the east and southeast towards Ferleiten. With 2.418 meters of altitude difference between valley and summit in the Eastern Alps.
1st day:
Meeting point at the parking lot Kesselwandhaus near Kaprun. Joint ascent by bus to Moserboden (2,100 m). From there we walk along the marked path to the Heinrich-Schwaigerhaus (2.802 m)

Second day:
Early in the morning we start our tour towards the summit. Behind the hut we climb a steep gully ("Klamml" easy fixed rope route). We continue via Forchezkopf and Kaindlgrat to the summit at 3,570 meters above sea level. Descent on the same path to Moserboden and further by bus to the cars.
Ascent: 770 meters above sea level
Descent: 1.470 meters altitude difference

Good footwork, a free from vertigo and some rock experience.
