Mariola Mountain and Font Roja are two National Parks that make up a unique area in southeastern Spain not just for its biological wealth but also because of its privileged climate compared to the rest of the province. Alicante is
well known for its beaches and desert climate, but what people don’t usually know is that there are also very interesting mountains and forests in the north of the province, in contrast with the south, and that’s why we feel it is very interesting for English people to discover.
