The Watzmann east wall is the highest wall in the Eastern Alps with an altitude of 1800 metres and with 3000 metres of climbing and difficulties up to the upper 3rd degree, the Berchtesgadener Weg is the technically easiest climbing route, but due to its climbing length and difficult orientation it is a serious and enduring climbing tour.
