The Vallée Blanche run is located on the eastern side of the Mont Blanc massif. The Monte Bianco Skyway gondola will take you to the highest peak reachable with lifts, Punta Helbronner at 3,462 meters. With skis at feet, you will enjoy more than 20 kilometers descent and 3,000 meters vertical decrease in elevation.
Every year thousands of freeride skiers take the run for marvellous panoramas and incredible landscapes made of peaks and glaciers. The journey ends in Chamonix village with the little red train.
The run is not technically difficult and pistes are not steep.
However, in order to be eligible for the run, a freeride skier should ski on red runs with ease.
Always plan your journey on the glacier with a certified guide due to the dangers of crevasses and the risk of avalanches.
Please enquire in case of need of rucksack, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe; mandatory for the journey.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
