It is a beautiful, non-tiring itinerary with a 900 m uphill gradient. It runs along large glaciers between Switzerland and Italy, with a splendid view of the 4000 m peaks of the Alps.
Total route: 5,5 hours of ascent and 4 of return.
Optional continuation from the bivouac to the summit of Cima Jazzi. Reduced route 6,5 hours. Ascent by cable car to Monte Moro 2850 m and overnight stay at the Oberto refuge. In the morning departure for the Luino bivouac at 3600 m and after a short stop, descent to Zermatt with a length of 22 km and a difference in altitude of 2000 m.
