A ring-route that will make you discover one of the most suggestive corners of the Upper Maira Valley. Woods of larch trees and gentle slopes alternate with bare and steep stones to reach the summit of Mt. Scaletta (2840 m). We will reach the summit passing through an incredible tunnel dug into the mountain, a portion of underground tunnels built during the Second World War to defend the national borders. Once at the top the view is incredible. On one side you can see the whole Maira Valley and on the other the Stura Valley with the beautiful Roburent Lakes. On the way back, depending on the level of preparation of the participants, we can make a loop through the watershed ridge or we will return on the uphill route. A complete and satisfying hike... not to be missed.
