In the heart of Switzerland, in between Cantons Uri, Bern and Wallis there are some peaks of really good granite that perfectly fit the idea of "Schweiz Plaisir"...a "motto" that means nice routes on solid rock with safe and trustable equipment and great landscapes. The geology here has been pretty generous, forming in the ages some stunning rock formations going from the 500 meters long slab of the Eldorado to the incredible towers of the Salbitschijen. In between many others like the Gross Bielenhorn or the Graue Wand. Here every climber can have his personal satisfaction, from the 4°-5° of some nice ridges like the SE of the Gross Bielenhorn or the Sudgrat of Salbit, to the 6a-6b of the mega classic Motorhead at the Eldorado, or the Niedermann at the Gross Bielenhorn, or the Clog & Stock at Salbit.
