DOL - trekking on Dorsale Orobica Lecchese

The Dorsale Orobica Lecchese (DOL) is the route that goes from south to north along the watershed between the provinces of Lecco and Bergamo. From the slopes of the Resegone you cross different sceneries, beech woods, pastures, dolomitic limestone to the sharp crests of the Pizzo dei Tre Signori. The path follows an average altitude of 1,700 m, the daily differences in altitude does not exceed 600 meters.
The trekking can take place in 3 days, with return from Val Biandino, or in 4 days with return from the Bitto valley. The starting point is Lecco, which is about 50 km from Milan. Here we will take the cable car that takes us to the altitude. For the return, we will use local means of transport, bus and train.
