Via delle Bocchette - Brenta Dolomites

Day 1 :
Meeting at 8:30 am at Grosté cable car park
Briefing & Delivery of equipment to participants
Climb up with lifts to the Stoppani Refuge

Ferrata Benini
From the Grostè Pass (2444 m) you can admire unique views of the Brenta Dolomites, the Presanella Group, Adamello and Cevedale. After a short approach (about 40 minutes) we will reach the departure of the via ferrata Alfredo Benini, following it, after an uphill stretch of about 2 hours where we can admire enchanting views of the Brenta Dolomites and in the distance of all the Dolomites, we will reach an altitude of 2900 meters where, after a short descent we will return to the west side of the Brenta Dolomites, and then descend through the more technical part of the via ferrata to the Bocca di Tuckett (2648 m) then return to the Tuckett refuge (2270 m).
Height difference uphill: 555 m.
Altitude difference downhill: 729 m.

Day 2

High Vents
From the Tuckett refuge (2270 m) climb up to the Bocca di Tuckett (2648 m) where the via ferrata of the Bocchette Alte starts. After having climbed the north ridge of the Brenta peak through stairs and metal cables in the most exposed sections you will reach the large ledge that cuts the east face of the Cima. You cross it to reach the south face with a breathtaking view and then continue to the shoulder of Cima Brenta. From here, after a short descent, you climb up the famous and aerial "ladder of friends" and the Massodi shoulder. Finally with an amusing exposed descent you return to the Alimonta refuge (2580 m).
Height difference uphill: 850 m.
Altitude difference downhill: 505 m.

Day 3

Bocchette Centrali
From the Alimonta refuge (2580 m) climb up to the Bocca degli Armi (2747 m) where the via ferrata of the Bocchette Centrali starts. After climbing the first metal stairs through narrow but very panoramic ledges located on the east side of the Torre di Brenta and the Campanile Alto you reach the Bocchetta del Campanile Basso, where you change sides to pass on the north face of the Cima Brenta Alta and then through the south face you reach the Bocca di Brenta (2553 m). You then return towards Rifugio Brentei, Rifugio Casinei and Vallesinella.
