Day 1
Meeting with the Guide at 7.30 am in Pinzolo, briefing & equipment check, transfer by car along the Val Genova to Malga Bedole (1600m). Departure with path 241 through the Matarot valley.
Equipped path and progression in rope with harness and carabiners. In the afternoon, arrival at the Refuge "Ai Caduti dell'Adamello" at the Lobbia Pass (3050m), refreshment and accommodation in the rooms. Before dinner visit to the altar where Pope John Paul II celebrated mass in 1984.
*Day 2 *
Rope team with harness, rope and crampons; progression along the glacier and ascent to Cresta Croce - crossing to the Cannone/Ippopotamo at 3300 m: beautiful crossing in a high mountain environment with unique views over the whole Adamello group and along the historical sites of the First World War.
Descent to Mandrone refuge (2449m), lunch break and return to the valley to Malga Bedole.
