Unique and fascinating excursion to the highest and most active volcano in Europe, which takes place on the southern side of Etna. This site is in continuous evolution, marked by the profound changes impressed by the permanent volcanic activity.
A beautiful and interesting excursion that is generally made when the activity of the volcano does not allow to reach the summit area. Besides reaching the maximum altitude allowed under current laws, we will visit the Barbagallo craters, theatre of the imposing 2002/03 eruption, a beautiful channel/cave of lava flow, and finish our day by admiring the fascinating Valle del Bove.

The hike can also be organised in winter when the Etna is covered in snow. The snowy volcano makes the landscapes and the experience even more fascinating. In this case, the use of crampons makes the ascent safer.
