MTB / E-MTB sulla Strada dei Cannoni

An amazing tour that runs entirely along the watershed between the Maira and Varaita Valleys, offering breathtaking views; physically demanding for its length and height difference, but not technically difficult. From the Rossana pass, we initially climb on asphalt, taking altitude and then continue on a comfortable dirt road to the Colle della Liretta (vantage point). Next, we will return to the asphalt road passing over the Sanctuary of Valmala and reaching the Colle della Ciabra, where the ascents soften up to the Colle del Birrone. The exceptional environment pays off all the efforts and will allow us to make the most difficult stretch that leads us to cross the Colle di Sampeyre. Another last effort will take us to the Colle della Bicocca, under the imposing mountain of Pelvo d'Elva. The return will be on the same uphill route, with a descent that does not present any particular technical difficulties.
