MTB excursion to the Lame Rosse (Red Blades), fantastic landscape, almost Martian for its calcareous rocks that due to the presence of iron on the surface assume a rosacea color. The "Red Blades" eroded by weathering over time have taken on forms of spiers similar to the Grand Canyon. We are in the district of the Sibillini Mountains, we will climb to 1300m and between an alternation of immense panoramic views of the mountains and Lake Fiastra, famous for its emerald blue color, between paths hidden by lush vegetation, we will discover as magic an unexpected landscape, the "Red Blades".
MTB ALLE LAME ROSSE
Escursione in mtb alle Lame Rosse, paesaggio fantastico, quasi marziano per le sue rocce di formazione calcarea che per la presenza di ferro sulla superficie assumono una colorazione rosacea. Le Lame Rosse erose dagli agenti atmosferici nel tempo hanno assunto forme di guglie simili a gran canyon. Siamo nel comprensorio del Parco dei Monti Sibillini, saliremo a 1300m e tra un alternarsi di immensi scorci panoramici sui Monti e sul lago di Fiastra, famoso per il suo colore azzurro smeraldo, tra sentieri nascosti da una rigogliosa vegetazione, scopriremo come per magia un paesaggio inaspettato, le Lame Rosse.
