THE VIA FERRATA DEGLI ARTISTI
Even if the “via ferrate” are not a typical characteristic of the area around Finale Ligure, the Ferrata degli artisti of Magliolo has become a traditional attraction for whoever loves this type of climbing.
The itinerary is situated on the southern slope of the Bric Agnellino (1335 m above sea level) until it reaches the top following a series of steep rocky spurs (known as the Costa dei Balzi Rossi given the typical color of the rock) interspersed with gentler stretches.
The southern exposure makes it perfect for spring and autumn, but with the right conditions and/ or the correct departure times of the ascent it may be done throughout the year.
This ferrata is not particularly difficult but long if we consider the ascent and descent. The itinerary therefore takes up a whole day.
Recommendations for equipment and clothing can vary depending on the time of the year and the weather conditions. Just follow the advice given by the guide.

LA VIA FERRATA DEGLI ARTISTI
Pur non essendo una “specialità” tipica della zona il finalese, la Ferrata degli artisti di Magliolo è un’attrazione ormai tradizionale per gli amanti di questo genere di scalata.
L’itinerario si sviluppa sul versante meridionale del Bric Agnellino (1335mslm) fino a raggiungerne la cima seguendo una serie di ripidi speroni rocciosi (detta Costa dei Balzi Rossi dato il tipico colore della roccia) intervallati da tratti più dolci.
L’esposizione a sud la rende perfetta per la primavera e l’autunno ma con le giuste condizioni e/o corretti orari di partenza la salita può essere effettuata tutto l’anno.
Si tratta di una ferrata non particolarmente difficile ma lunga per cui per la salita e la discesa è richiesta, l’intera giornata.
