Hi there,

I am Giorgos, I was born and raised in the city of Ioannina, Northwest Greece.

I am a qualified Sea Kayak Guide (BCU), qualified Trip Leader and Rafting Guide (IRF), Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (Rescue 3 International), qualified Mountaineer (Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing), Certified Canoe-Kayak instructor (Hellenic Canoe-Kayak Federation) and qualified Offshore Sailor. I am a Volunteer Samaritan and Rescuer of the Hellenic Red Cross.

My passion for outdoors led me to run my own business in 2005, under the name ‘Trekking Hellas Ioannina’, based in Zagori, Epirus, Northwest Greece.

Me and my team carefully plan and organise daily activity itineraries and multi day trips, in the pristine nature of Vikos-Aoos National Park. If you are up for some adventure like rafting, canyoning, river trekking, hiking or mtb, I would be glad to share my passion for outdoors with you!
