Monte Stivo dominates the Alto Garda Trentino and the surrounding valleys and its top offers a panoramic view that has no equal. It is the diversity of landscapes that makes our area truly inimitable. Trekking to Monte Stivo will allow us to appreciate them all, in their perfect balance and to change perspective! Looking at Lake Garda from up here is really a marvel! And then ... from the top just rotate your eyes and the horizon is so wide!!! The route designed by our guides still adds a touch of adrenaline during the descent ... not to be missed!!!
Route:
One of the most beautiful places in Upper Garda! Reached by transfer Malga Campo (1385 m), the trek takes us through pastures and woods, and then along a spectacular ridge to reach the summit of Monte Stivo (2050 m). The panoramic view of Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites, the Valle dei Laghi and the Valle dell'Adige are splendid! Going down on the opposite side you can reach in 10 minutes the Rif. Marchetti al Monte Stivo (2009 m) for a pleasant break and lunch. In the afternoon we descend along an amusing ridge path, winding among the mountain pines and we reach the pasture of the High Herds (1760 m). We return to Malga Campo, descending along a cool path through the beech trees.
