Have you ever dreamed of leaving your own trails on a virgin slope? Then do not hesitate anymore and go for a ski touring or split board initiation.
We will kick off the day with training on using your equipment: how do you install and remove the skin, what is the best walking technique, … In addition, we will discuss how you should use your security equipment, such as avalanche receiver and airbag.
Once we are familiar with our new skis and split-board we will go off-piste. I will judge the weather and snow conditions, and select the most appropriate freeriding slopes. I'll take into account the mind, your individual psychology, as well as your sporting or non-sporting physique and technique and psychomotor knowledge of the body.
The course is open to all those who wish to discover ski touring or split board, without age restriction. You have to have proper control of parallel turns on the piste but no experience with off-piste, ski touring or split board is required. The course will be adapted to your experience, motivation, and momentum.
At any time the course can be cancelled due to severe weather conditions.
