A 9 km simple hike along the southern coast of Ogliastra, on an easy track that will take us to Cala Monte Santu, also known as “Beach of the eggs”, where we will be able to admire the unique pebbles and the beauty of the Tafoni carved in the adjacent rocky walls and the famous finger shaped climbing rock, known as Dillosauro. After a break we will start walking towards the beach located in the area of S'abba 'e Ferru where we will have a lunch break under a cover of carob and oak trees. Those who want, will be able to take a refreshing swim or just deep their toes. The route takes place on a wide and easy path suitable for the whole family.
14.30 pm The group will head towards the Aragonese Tower of San Giovanni di Sarrala, an important example of a coastal defense tower.
15:30 End of the hike. Those who wish, can take advantage to spend the afternoon on the nearby beaches of Foxi Lioni and Foxi Murdegu.
