A suggestive itinerary in the Valle del Re. From the capital of Savoy, King Vittorio Emanuele reached the Castle of Casotto with carriages and horses. Now we accompany you to Val Casotto with modern pedal-assisted bicycles. We propose an easy 20/25 km tour on white roads, cart tracks and stretches of asphalt with little flow of traffic. We will visit: "The village of cheeses " now used for the ageing of the cheese. It was completely renovated by "Beppino Occelli" a leading company in the production of various DOP cheeses. We will continue to the mountain huts with the famous "enclosed roof", the chestnut groves, the community ovens, the small mountain churches, the village of Pamparato with its typical paste di meliga, the charming tree houses, immersed in the quiet of nature, the museum of ancient crafts and we will return to Valcasotto to enjoy a dedicated menu with typical Piedmontese dishes.
