Ascension to the Matterhorn for the daring crest of the Lion, the demanding Italian normal route.
Reserved for trained climbers with a minimum of experience.
Day 1
From Cervinia you go up with off-road service to the Duca degli Abruzzi Refuge, from here in about 4/5 hours, up to the Carrel Hut (3,800m).
The itinerary that leads to the hut is largely on unstable ground and presents a demanding passage to overcome "la Cheminèe", a difficult corner...
The difference in altitude: + 1000 meters

Day 2
Departure at night and climb to the summit, passing through the Pic Tyndall and the famous Scala Jordan.
Return to the same itinerary and descent to Cervinia.
Difference in altitude + 800m / - 2400m

In case of bad weather and mountain conditions we will try to find an alternative destination just as beautiful and valid.
