Snow shoes were used by the mountain populations to move through the waist-deep snowy lands and they still remain a useful tool to run across our mountains.
The wintry face of the mountains is the most suggestive thing you can imagine. Walking through deep and silent coniferous woods or following the path just under the impressive Dolomites faces: a day dedicated to try and learn the snowshoe technique in the snowy landscape of the Dolomites.
