Cima Grande di Lavaredo 2999 m - Dibona route

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo are the landmark of the Upper Pusteria Valley. They belong to the most famous rocky peaks of the Dolomites and to the most famous climbing destinations in the world. The Dibonakante is considered one of the greatest alpine climbing classics in the Dolomites. The 20-pitch route winds along the north-east edge to the summit of the Große Zinne. The route, which bears the name of the official first climber, was probably climbed free solo by Rudi Eller from Lienz in 1908 a year before.
