Hohe Wasserfälle und grüner Bergsee - Stubaital

We meet at the Stubai Glacier Road at the Grawa Alm bus stop.
Already at the starting point we marvel at the 180 m high and 85 m wide Grawa waterfall. We walk to the foot of the waterfall and enjoy the foaming and roaring of the water while falling over the cascades.
Near the waterfall we climb up to the platform to see the wild fall of the water.
Then we continue through the valley of the Sulzenau-Alm with its three thundering waterfalls. A scenic climb winds its way up in serpentines to the Sulzenau hut. Another hour we hike over glacier moraines to Lake Grünau, which is our destination today.
The view up to the glacier of the Wilden Freigers and over the opposite peaks rewards us for the strenuous ascent.
Difference in altitude of 860 m up and down.
