The bike route will start from Bolzano, a splendid city where Italian and German culture meet.
A ride through the historic center is a must, and then let's start!!
We will follow a section of the ancient route of the Via Claudia-Augusta, built by the will of the Roman Empire during the military campaigns for the conquest of the territories that today are Austria and Germany.
A short uphill detour will lead us to the village of Appiano on the wine route, where the landscape surrounded by vineyards will accompany us until Lake Caldaro.
We will then return to the Adige Valley, where the river of the same name will lead us to Trento.
The splendid Piazza del Duomo will be the worthy conclusion of our journey by bike, and the historic center of this magnificent city will outline greetings in front of a cafe, an ice cream, or one of the many wines that the Adige Valley has to offer !
Possibility to return autonomously to Bolzano by train, even with bikes.
