Surrounded by those big limestone walls the Dachstein summit is pretty unique. Looking from the south it looks wild and nearly unclimbable but on the north side, there is a mellow glacier plateau leading to the last summit part, which is easily accessible thanks to the Via Ferrata rope that leads directly to the summit. This makes it a very enjoyable climb for everybody and the exposed summit view is absolutely unique.
